This photo shows a test of the T-6A trainer's Martin-Baker Mk. US16 ejection seat being fired from a sled at the Martin-Baker Sled Test Facility. The seat in the air is the aft seat that has just ejected thru the canopy of the sled cockpit. The drogue chute is fully deployed and starting to control and slow the seat. The front seat would be fired within the next few fractions of a second. The sled rockets are nearing complete burn-out.
